Role Overview

Summary:

NorthStar is seeking a Director, Clinical Leadership Recruiting, to help source senior-level clinical leadership talent and other senior corporate talent. In this position, you will participate in the entire recruitment process, from strong pipeline generation to offer acceptance. As part of this process, you will collaborate with business leaders to determine needs, assess candidates, and assist with salary negotiations. The duties of this position extend beyond external recruitment, as you will also engage in talent mapping and succession planning. Since you will primarily focus on filling clinical leadership roles, applicants must have five or more years of recruiting experience, preferably in the health care industry recruiting clinical leaders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop recruiting strategy for senior-level clinical leadership including the following roles:
    • Medical Director
    • Chief CRNA
    • Regional Medical Director
    • Regional Director, CRNA Services
    • Regional Chief Medical Officer, VP Physician Services
    • VP, CRNA Services
  • Develop recruiting strategy for other senior-level corporate roles at the VP-level and above
  • Develop recruiting strategy for executive-level roles, as needed
  • Develop strong partnership with external search firms, as needed
  • Assist with talent mapping and succession planning
  • Develop relationships with key clinical and corporate leaders across the enterprise
  • Advise and consult on candidate requisite skills and experience for specific roles and in specific markets
  • Develop recruiting strategy for organic growth (i.e., new contracts) and mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
  • Collaborate with executive leadership team to develop long-term clinical leadership recruiting strategy
  • Contribute to strong pipeline generation
  • Participate in executive compensation negotiations
  • Develop leadership assessment tools and resources 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience
  • Five or more years of corporate or search firm recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting clinicians, preferably clinical leaders
  • Experience working in the health care industry, anesthesia would be highly desirable
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
