Role Overview

 

Summary/Objective:  This position, under direction, will assist with executing the staffing strategy for W2 full time, part time, PRN roles as well as 1099 and agency providers. Specialists will be accountable to know the openings and create staffing solutions based on the identified top priority needs.  

 

***This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.***

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Under direction of Team lead, manage the full recruiting process with an emphasis on creating great candidate experience and building a reputation as a destination employer.
  • Recruiting Specialist will be accountable to knowing openings and creating solutions. Specialist must master the ability to establish top priority needs, including the requirements/disqualifiers, budgets for each position type, urgency and ultimately what is and is not a sufficient solution.
  • Partner with agencies to recruit agency providers within NorthStar standard fee and contract structure.
  • Strong positive feedback from clinical leadership on ability to distinguish needs for each site and think creatively about leveraging staffing across geography (e.g. moving locums as needed)
  • Actively collaborate with teammates to ensure internal customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately document, track and report recruiting activity.
  • Utilize the policies and procedures for the recruiting and on-boarding process, in coordination with Credentialing, Human Resources, Operations and Clinical Leadership.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Promote NorthStar Anesthesia’s Core Values.
  • Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Prefer previous clinical recruiting experience
  • Anesthesia recruiting experience preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills (experience in healthcare preferred/desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to persuade
  • Advanced skills in all Office Suite products preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, self-motivated, highly organized
